How Paint of the Week is determined
Each Friday, the Trading Paints Community Management team names a Paint of the Week from the Showroom that’s announced on social media.
The Paint of the Week is determined in the sole judgment of the Community Management team without any specific requirements or criteria. Paints do not have to be submitted in the week they’re selected — oftentimes Community Managers go back in time to find a paint to name as Paint of the Week.
Any paint submitted to the Showroom with public (default) visibility is up for consideration for Paint of the Week; there’s no submission process to be considered.
Generally, the Paint of the Week follows an alternating Road and Oval selection each week, and the submission contains detail-minded work with good screenshots.
Each weekly Paint of the Week winner is entered into the year-end Paint of the Year tournament.
