I uninstalled Trading Paints Downloader but I still see custom paints. How can I remove the remaining files from my computer?
Manually removing custom paints from your computer
If you uninstalled Trading Paints Downloader from your computer, it’s possible some temporary files were left behind if the program was unable to delete them. These paint files are not necessary and can be safely removed from your computer.
Navigate to your computer’s Documents folder.
Select the iRacing folder.
There will be a folder called paint. Delete the entire folder. This won’t impact iRacing other than removing custom paints that couldn’t be deleted.
Doing this will remove any remaining custom paint files on your computer.
These changes only change what’s shown locally on your computer. If you have a custom paint assigned on Trading Paints, other drivers will still see you racing that custom paint until you remove it from My Paints.
